| Whitechurch GAA Cúl Camp 2010
Whitechurch GAA Cúl Camp will run from July 26th - 30th (10.00am
- 2.30pm each day)
Cost : 55 for first child, 45 for second child and 35 for third or further children from same family. The Cul Camp is for boys and girls from 7 - 13 years old. Children under 7 will only be allowed attend if they already attend coaching at Whitechurch GAA Club or Rockbán Ladies Football & Camogie Club.You can register and pay online at www.gaa.ie or complete an application form. The forms are available at St Patrick's N.S., Whitechurch filling station or from Mike Woulfe (tel. 086 8138684 - after 6pm). Please note that the Cúl Camp gear will only be available to those registered by July 18th. Children may register after the 18th but will not receive the Cúl Camp gear. |

2010 Whitechurch GAA Golf Classic (Blarney 18/06/2010) The annual golf classic proved another success this year with over 55 teams taking part. This is the Club's main fund raiser for the year and without the support of patrons could not survive. Whitechurch GAA would like to thank all who helped make this another successful event and in particular event organiser John Coleman. New Gaels / Gael óg This is the newly formed Club at U-16 and Minor level. This is an amalgamation of Whitechurch - Grenagh and White's Cross. The hurling team are represented uner New Gaels with the footballer's playing under Gael óg. To date both teams have been very successful and we wish both teams continued success. This new Club would like to thank Teddy Roche of Whitechurch Service Station for sponsoring the new jersey's. | Annual General Meeting. Our club AGM was held on Wed Jan 20th at 8pm. 41 members attended with another 15 sending their apologies.The outgoing Chairman opened the meeting, welcomed all. Last years minutes were read out by the Secretary. Matters arising from these were discussed and the Secretary proceeded with his Report of the years events, both on and off pitch.The Chairman thanked The Secretary for his comprehensive details and thanked him for his efforts throughout the year.He also wished that the Clubs Forum would bring the county together and that success would be forthcoming. He hoped that coaching at school level would be prioritized to assure Corks success in future.He also welcomed the greater representation at County Board Meetings.The Treasurers Report followed with great detail. The club is now handling huge amounts of money as it grows. Membership numbers are up.The Chairman gave details of our expenditure on our new Irrigation System which will maintain the excellent playing surface for years to come.John Sheehan complimented Tom for his great work in keeping the books in such good order. The Juvenile Report was given by our Vice Chairman on the club activities from Under 6 to Under 16. He went on to thank all mentors for their work. Garda Vetting is to be implemented to fulfill our responsibilities to children. Parents were encouraged to get involved and communications encouraged. The Chairman was grateful for all the great games and success that our underage brought us during the year. The Chairman went on to address the meeting where he highlighted the major occasions - Club Forum, Club Vesting, Capital Projects and Fundraising and our 50th Anniversary. He went on to thank all involved in running the club, its players, the Community Association and Whites Cross club who had great success. He again thanked the Officers and Mentors.
